Based on Swedish data, only in the group of men aged 90 and over could COVID vaccination possibly be beneficial.
The Doctors’ Appeals/Läkaruppropet’s Sven Román and four co-authors, including the associate professor of mathematics Niklas Lundström, published an article on July 15, 2022, titled “Serious Side Effects Exceed the Risk of Hospitalization with COVID-19 in the Swedish Population” at the Brownstone Institute. This is a mathematical analysis of suspected serious side effects for different age groups correlated with vaccination rates and deaths and hospitalizations due to COVID-19 infection. The analysis presents outcomes at a reporting frequency of suspected serious side effects of COVID vaccines at 5%, 10%, and 25%.
The only two studies from the 21st century on the proportion of all suspected serious side effects for drugs and vaccines in Sweden that are actually reported showed a reporting rate of 1%. If we calculate a much higher reporting rate for COVID vaccines, 5%, then there is only one single and relatively small group that could possibly benefit from vaccination: men aged 90 and older.
We write ‘possibly,’ because this does not take into account that most of those who died with a COVID-19 infection would have survived with adequate treatment. Our assessment is that 80-95% of those who died would have survived with the right medication, such as early treatment with ivermectin, vitamin D, hydroxychloroquine, antiviral treatment, antibiotics, and more.
Had correct treatment been used against the COVID-19 infection, no age group would have benefited from vaccination. The risk would have far exceeded the benefit.
